Mind & Spirit is the collaboration of two disciplines, pastoral theology and clinical psychology. As an Anglican Priest (Gavin Knight) and a Clinical Psychologist (Joanna Knight), we are keen to explore the interface between our worlds, to ask the question, how might the integration of Christian discipleship and psychological reflection develop our understanding of the Church and the world in which we live today?

The aim of this website is to promote our work in the hope that it can become part of a wider discourse which centres on brokenness and healing from a faith perspective. Our joint interests are wide-ranging and include: children’s spirituality, mental health, creative use of liturgy and nurturing the Christian faith in all ages.

Through publications, conferences and seminars, we wish to engage in dialogue with others who share our interest in Mind & Spirit. We invite people from all walks of life to contact us, especially those who are working within allied therapeutic disciplines or caring professions.
